At UFG, we aim to educate, motivate, and entertain. Please look at some of the articles already published to the site to get an idea of the style and tone we’re going for. You’ll also get an idea of the kinds of topics we cover so that you can pitch an idea that’s likely to get published.
We’re looking for fresh perspectives on topics of interest to small business owners, entrepreneurs, and solopreneurs.
Please back up all of your arguments with a mix of personal anecdotes, statistics, thought leaders, and links to reputable sources.
Remember to proofread your work before you submit it. If your work is riddled with errors, we will not publish it.
Only submit work that was written by you. Work you didn’t write will not be accepted.
Avoid promoting yourself or your products or services in your article. The goal should be to inform and educate the reader about the topic. You can link to your website in your bio.
After submission, please allow up to two weeks to hear back from us. If you haven’t heard from us within 30 days, you your article was likely rejected.
If your article is accepted, you’ll receive an email and instructions on what the next steps will be.
