Starting and growing a business can be a scary thing for most people – especially those that have been tethered to their 9 to 5 jobs since they were old enough to become cogs in the machine (just kidding!).
Which is why you’re probably on this page right now. To find a little relief from the soul-crushing demands of a 9 to 5 job. Being chained to a desk and told when you can go on vacation and go to the bathroom and have lunch is just too much for you (not that those who do it are some kind of robots or something).
But if you’re here, you’re probably looking for a simple way to start and grow an online business because something about that life just doesn’t work for you.
But the problem is, even if I give you all the steps laid out in plain English, for so many people, it’s still a struggle.
For many people, a Done for You Business is the best way to go.
If you don’t have the time and money to set up an online business yourself, why not buy a pre-made one instead of starting from scratch?
Here are a few ridiculously simple ways to start a business in 2022 (which includes a few Done for You businesses).
1. Done for You Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing can be a great way to bring in some extra money – when done correctly. A lot of people who get into affiliate marketing jump in and just start posting links everywhere.
That’s the WRONG way to do it.
First of all, affiliate marketing is essentially sales on steroids. That means you’ve got to finesse the sale.
Don’t shove your affiliate products down people’s throats.
Instead, work on building relationships with prospects by offering valuable information they can actually use.

2. Done for You eCommerce Store
Want to get into drop shipping, but don’t feel like going through the process of setting up a store on your own?
Buy a Done for You eCommerce store – a prebuilt store that allows you to simply import your own products.
Choose a niche you’re interested in and browse Shopify stores for sale.
3. Build a Publishing Empire
Another way to start a business quickly and easily is to create a publishing empire. Start writing eBooks and publishing them on Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing site.
You can also publish them on third-party sites like Smashwords (which I used to use) or Draft2Digital (which I currently use).
Using a third-party site means you’ll have the option of having your book on other channels (like Apple iBooks, Sony, which is always beneficial.
But know that Amazon is killing it with eBooks and if you want your books to be seen, this is where they need to be.
4. Amazon Re-Selling
Another way to leverage Amazon is to use it to resell items. Find items locally that are more expensive on Amazon and resell them for more on the site.
You’ll need to sign up to become an Amazon Seller.
Decide what kind of products you want to sell on Amazon.
Choose a niche.
Then, do some research and figure out what the top-selling products are in your niche. Make sure you’ll have a decent profit margin selling whatever you choose to sell.
5. Event Planning
Okay, this isn’t entirely online, but the majority of the time you spend planning an event won’t be face-to-face with vendors or clients. In fact, in the age of COVID, you can opt to do things completely online via video chat to limit contact.
You should also consider social distancing restrictions when planning events and thinking about things like seating.
Event planning requires very little overhead so it’s something you can start doing almost immediately once you get your first client.
If you’ve got strong communications skills, an eye for details, and great planning skills (with the ability to meet deadlines), you could plan events for corporations, government organizations, municipalities, or nonprofit organizations.
Or you might decide to specialize in specific kinds of events, such as festivals or weddings.
